Keksic is learning to speak

Our Little Biscuit is doing really well now. When we rescued him in October 2019, just one wing feather grew but since we changed his diet and introduced minerals in his water he grew 7 more feathers in less than a month. So, indeed, we are now more hopeful he will fly again one day.

In the meantime, he has started imitating different bird calls and mimics what he sees. Also, he has even learnt to speak his name in Croatian – Keksić/Keks. Moreover, he likes to imitate sounds of water, doors opening, and even the generator. His love for producing sounds and talking went so far that at the moment he is inventing his own language – way of talking, and surprises us with new things every day.

He is healthy and in a good emotional and mental state which is the most important of all. His playfulness and curiosity has no limits, as well as his need to participate in everything that is happening in our headquarters.
